| With the MultiClip High (65mm adjustable) installed, the handlebar position
can be set close to that of a naked bike with a standard handlebar. This is Yamaguchi, head of ABM Japan, riding his own ZX-25R equipped with this setup. Compared to a conventional handlebar, the MultiClip offers greater rigidity and less flex, resulting in more precise and responsive handling — even during circuit riding. In addition, it provides easier access to the front fork top adjusters for tool adjustments, which is another practical advantage over standard handlebar setups. It may sound a bit biased, but I can honestly say that I am truly impressed with — and deeply convinced by — the performance of the MultiClip system. …I can confidently say this is one of the best upgrades I’ve ever experienced. |

However, after experiencing the significantly improved comfort of a bike equipped with the “High” version, Yamaguchi, the head of ABM Japan, was highly impressed. As a result, starting in December 2023, ABM Japan began offering a unique kit that combines the optional “High” clamps — a configuration not available as a complete set from ABM Germany. This makes it a truly Japan-exclusive setup for riders seeking maximum comfort. |

| ABM bar ends were previously supplied with metal sleeves and taper nuts. However, since 2018, they have been changed to rubber components, likely for cost reduction purposes. However, compared to metal components, rubber provides a weaker clamping force during installation. If not securely fitted, there is a higher risk of the bar ends coming loose or even detaching while riding. After successful negotiations with the manufacturer and confirming a stable supply, ABM Japan has independently sourced the original metal sleeves and taper nuts, and now includes them with our bar ends. |
| As shown above, assemble the components and slightly expand the slit in the aluminum sleeve in advance, so that it lightly contacts the inner wall of the handlebar. Then, insert it into the end of the handlebar and tighten the mounting bolt. As you tighten, you will feel a firm and secure clamping action, resulting in a stronger and more reliable installation compared to rubber components. |
